Deleting your account or workspace

Huudis is the identity behind every Forjio product, so it centralizes the destructive parts of the account lifecycle. Deleting your account or a workspace here removes it everywhere — but never instantly. Both run through a 30-day grace period you can cancel at any time.

Account deletion is account-wide, not app-wide. Your Huudis account is the single sign-on behind every Forjio product you use. Deleting it removes your access everywhere, not just from the product you started in. Other Forjio products that offer "delete my account" redirect you here.

How the grace period works

Both account and workspace deletion follow the same shape:

1. You schedule it. Huudis soft-deletes the record — it stamps a deletion date 30 days out and emits an event so connected products know.
2. Access continues. Nothing is removed during the grace window. You (and, for a workspace, its members) keep full access right up to the date.
3. You can cancel anytime. Cancel before the date and everything carries on as if you never asked — same account, same access.
4. Final removal. Once the 30 days lapse, a background sweep permanently deletes the record and everything it owns. This is irreversible.

Deleting your account

Go to Dashboard → Settings (/dashboard/account) and open the Delete account danger zone.

1. Type your email address (or DELETE) to confirm, and re-enter your password.
2. Click Schedule account deletion. Huudis shows the date your account will be removed.
3. To call it off, return to the same screen and click Cancel deletion any time before that date.

Sole-owned workspaces block account deletion. If you're the only owner of one or more workspaces, Huudis won't schedule your account deletion until you either transfer ownership or delete those workspaces. This keeps a workspace from being orphaned with no owner.

Deleting a workspace

Go to Dashboard → Workspaces (/dashboard/workspaces). Only a workspace owner can delete it.

1. Click Delete on the workspace, then type its name exactly to confirm.
2. Huudis schedules it for deletion and shows the date. The workspace stays fully usable until then.
3. Any owner can click Cancel deletion before the grace ends.

When the grace lapses, the workspace and everything it owns — OIDC clients, identity providers, IAM policies, members, audit log — are permanently removed.

What gets removed at the end
